Project Description
The scope included preliminary design (alignments, typical sections, profiles and estimates) for ten alternatives to evaluate feasible options relative to factors including, but not limited to safety, cost, traffic implications, environmental features, right of way, and future connections. The three most feasible alternatives will be progressed and further analyzed in the design report. Key considerations on this project include: multiple municipalities, large number of stakeholders, public perception, traffic considerations associated with potential lane modifications, flood control structures, stormwater management design, culvert relocations, and coordination with two subconsultants.
