BRIAN J. ZICK, L.S.
Mr. Zick has twenty years of experience performing surveys in support of infrastructure improvements, bridge replacement/rehabilitation, municipal street upgrades, site developments, and highway design projects. Mr. Zick has extensive experience performing surveys including boundary, ROW, hydraulics & hydrology, and real property projects. He has conducted field surveys to provide LIDAR scanning, 3D modeling, project control, photogrammetric control, field edits of photogrammetric mapping, GPS control, and digital terrain modeling tasks second order accuracy primary control, and wetlands & riverbed surveys. Mr. Zick is proficient with a wide range of computer software, including AutoCAD and Bentley Microstation. Mr. Zick has been trained and educated in plane surveying, curve geometry, large scale mapping, least squares adjustments, photogrammetry, construction surveying, cadastral surveying, survey law, land use controls, data analysis, and Geographic Information System (GIS) applications. As Field Survey Coordinator, Mr. Zick is responsible for the coordination and is first line of supervision of survey crew personnel; processing, adjustment; Quality Control of field survey data; and generation/importation of data collection files to project specific CADD mapping platforms and formats. Mr. Zick led the field survey team and provided field support for the design survey on the Court Street Gateway (including the construction of the roundabout) project. He also was responsible for DTM & Control field survey tasks on the US Route 11 (Binghamton City Line to Colesville Road) project. Mr. Zick was responsible for leading field crews and for completing field survey tasks on the Vestal Rail Trail (corridor conversion) project.
